Q1 2026 HubSpot Update: The "No Fluff" RevOps Master List

Recently, we hosted our first virtual Rochester HubSpot User Group (HUG) session. Moving to a virtual format allowed us to connect with users locally and across the country, all looking to turn their HubSpot portals from a simple CRM into a true revenue engine.

Zachary Hussion, founder of HUSH RevOps, cut through the noise of hundreds of recent product updates to highlight the essential tools, betas, and quality of life improvements that will actually impact daily workflows for B2B manufacturing and industrial teams.

The Q1 TL;DR (Too Long; Didn't Read)

If you only have two minutes, here are the three biggest shifts you need to know:

    • AI is now "Multi-Modal": Breeze Agents can now analyze your Excel spreadsheets and embedded images to answer customer questions or extract CRM data.
    • Automation gets "Human" Logic: You can finally exclude weekends from workflow delays and automatically associate activities like calls and meetings to records.
    • Data Governance is King: From default property values to decoupled permissions, HubSpot is giving Admins more tools to stop bad data before it ruins your reporting.

The Deep Dive: Core Q1 Updates & Betas

We went through a massive amount of updates during the live session. Here is the categorized master list of the major Q1 product updates and betas that are worth your immediate attention.

1. The "Breeze" AI Evolution & Agents

HubSpot is heavily focused on refining its AI tools, making them more practical for daily operations.

    • Excel & Image Analysis: Customer Agents can now analyze Excel spreadsheets and embedded images (in PDFs, Word docs, etc.) directly within Knowledge Vaults. They can also "see" images attached by your customers in chats.
    • Data Agent Extraction: The Data Agent can now automatically extract property values from call transcripts, email notes, meetings, deals, and tickets.
    • Smarter Marketing Support: Breeze Assistant is now fully trained on HubSpot Academy content, making it a reliable resource for marketing and web traffic questions.
    • Adaptive Enrollment Limit: Starting in mid-April, Prospecting Agent enrollments will automatically complete after 30 days if a desired outcome is not reached.
    • Shared Prompts: You can now share effective AI prompts with your entire portal team directly within Breeze Assistant.
    • Agent Deployment: You can deploy Customer Agents through workflows and chat flows, and you have the ability to block specific URLs from being used as training sources.
    • Tester Feedback: You can give a thumbs up or down to rate your Customer Agent replies in the tester environment.
    • AI Summaries: You can now include AI-generated summaries in your report and dashboard exports.
    • Credit Consumption Warning: Custom properties added to smart data capture will soon begin consuming 10 HubSpot credits per property per transcript run.

2. Workflows and Automation Power-Ups

For RevOps professionals, automation is everything. These updates give you more granular control over your pipeline.

    • Business Day Delays: You can finally exclude weekends from "time between" calculations and workflow delays.
    • Automated Line Items: A new workflow action allows you to automatically add specific line items and products to deals, eliminating manual quote building.
    • Activity Associations: Use workflows to automatically associate activities like notes, calls, emails, and meetings to specific records.
    • Meeting Triggers: Meeting properties and automations are now available in workflows to automate follow-ups based on meeting outcomes.
    • Event Enrollment: You can now use workflows to register contacts for marketing events.

3. Smart CRM & Data Governance

Clean data is the foundation of good RevOps. These administrative tools help keep your portal organized and secure.

    • Default Property Values: Set default values for properties the moment a new record is created.
    • Decoupled Permissions: Permission sets and seats are now completely decoupled. HubSpot will automatically grant the maximum access allowed based on a user's seat and permission set, resolving access errors.
    • Restricted "Create" Access: You can grant users view, edit, merge, or delete permissions for objects without allowing them to create new records.
    • Duplicate Management: Customize the columns in the duplicate management table to review more critical data before merging records.
    • Admin Column Defaults: Super admins can now define default line item columns for the entire team in editors across deals, quotes, and invoices.
    • Team Setup & Hierarchies: You can now import users via CSV and set up nested team hierarchies.
    • Continuous Enrichment: HubSpot will now automatically clear bad data if a previously set value is inaccurate and no correct replacement is available.
    • Workspace Clean Up: Quickly find and archive reports that have not been viewed in six months.
    • Freeze Columns: You can freeze more columns in your index views to keep important data visible as you scroll.

4. Sales Execution & Pipeline Management

Bridging the gap between tracking and selling.

    • Smarter Sales Meetings: The Sales Workspace now includes pre-meeting insights, post-meeting summaries, and full transcript data.
    • Inbound Contact Creation: Adjust your email logging rules to automatically create new contact records from inbound logged emails.
    • Toolbar & Extension Updates: The Chrome extension now supports calling natively, and the Gmail sales toolbar is fully customizable.
    • Time in Stage Data: New calculated properties for "time in current stage" and "date entered current stage" are now available for contacts, companies, and leads.
    • Sales Documents: Documents now support nested folders and multi-brand configurations, ensuring buyers see the correct brand identity.
    • Line Items on Custom Objects: You can now add line items directly to custom objects.
    • Visual Updates: Add colors to your pipelines and pipeline stages, and easily spot pinned notes highlighted in yellow on the timeline.
    • Global Search: Leads are now fully searchable in the global search bar.
    • (Note: CRM Smart Insights will be sunsetting soon).

5. Marketing Alignment & Integrations

Tools to align your external content with your internal CRM data.

    • Multi-Campaign Emails: You can now associate a single marketing email to multiple campaigns without cloning the asset.

    • Brand Identity Refresh: Update your HubSpot brand kit automatically by scanning your latest website content.
    • Visibility for Sales: Sales reps can now preview marketing emails sent to prospects to confirm personalization tokens are working correctly.
    • Consolidated Data: Form submissions now roll up directly to the company record.
    • Reporting Upgrades: Conditional formatting now supports "AND" logic, and social metrics are available in the custom report builder. You can also connect personal LinkedIn account follower statistics.
